New Business Developer / Account Manager

Fuelogic are currently looking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic, target driven individual to focus on “New Business”.

The successful candidate will be working for a well-established fuel card company in Feering, Colchester, Essex. Our client is a direct agent for well known brands such as ESSO, Shell, Texaco, UK Fuels and Keyfuels. They will actively target additional revenue streams by introducing one of their fuel cards as a more cost effective option for the procurement of fuel.

Previous experience within the Fuel industry is not a pre-requisite, as full training will be given to the right candidate; however a proven track record within a tele-sales background in either B2B or B2C market sectors would be an advantage. The individual should have an excellent telephone manor in conjunction with good negotiation skills, be extremely well organised, have the ability to build strong customer/supplier relationships and a drive to succeed in the role.

A bespoke commission/bonus structure will be introduced upon successful completion of a 3 month probation period, in addition to 20 days paid holiday and excellent working conditions within our Head Quarters based at Feering near Colchester.

The roles and responsibilities include:

  • Lead Generating
  • Cold call potential customers
  • Organising daily routine
  • Conduct credit checks using internal systems
  • E-Mail potential customers with intro. letters, proposals and illustrations of product savings
  • Account manage
  • Input and up-date all relevant data onto company bespoke computer system
  • Account manage new customers to maintain volume and margin.
  • Input and update all relevant data onto the company bespoke computer systems.
  • Produce excel spread sheets to give clear indication of pipeline status
  • Meeting weekly sales targets
  • Presenting weekly sales to management on a weekly basis

Due to the location of the office, a full driving license and your own transport is preferred.

Key Account Manager

Do you possess a full UK driving license?

We are currently seeking an organised, dynamic and target-driven professional to work within our Fuel Card company.

The successful candidate will be expected to manage and develop the company’s existing customer accounts ensuring continuous business and the up selling of all other products.

Whilst previous experience within the Fuel industry is not a pre-requisite, a proven track record within a telesales background in B2B market sectors would be advantageous. The individual should have an excellent telephone manner, strong negotiation skills and a thorough level of organisation, as well as the ability to build strong customer/supplier relationships combined with the hunger to succeed in this role.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Review customer accounts to ensure continuous maintenance of volumes, margins and limits
  • Organising daily routine
  • Conduct credit checks using internal systems
  • E-Mail customers with intro letters, proposals and illustrations of products and services
  • Input and up-date all relevant data onto the company bespoke computer system
  • Produce Excel spread sheets to give clear indication of daily tasks
  • Work on Marketing and E- Marketing campaigns by generating ideas, working on production and send out
  • Collate stats from the E-Marketing campaigns onto spreadsheets
  • Meeting weekly sales targets
  • Presenting sales reports to Management on a weekly basis

Full training will be given to the right candidate.

A bespoke commission/bonus structure will be introduced upon the successful completion of a three-month probationary period. Our client, based in Feering, Colchester, boasts excellent working conditions with modern, spacious offices and onsite parking.
